Lundahl, Hatt & Austad Tax Service, Inc. was formed in Marion, Iowa in 1956. We serve approximately 1,600 tax and payroll clients in the Marion/Cedar Rapids/Monticello area. At LHA Tax we are honored to have a robust staff that include fulltime and seasonal employees whose accreditations include an EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, and several Registered Tax Return Preparers that participate in the AFSP (IRS Annual Filing Season Program). We look forward to working with you!

Nicole Nassif
President
The company originated in Marion, Iowa in 1956 by Vince and Grace (Cira) Hatt, and continues to have members of the Hatt family in employment, including the current company president, Nicole Hatt Nassif. Nicole is grateful for the opportunity to continue to operate the business that her grandparents and aunts developed years ago.
Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Mercy College (now University) and worked for almost twenty years in Finance management at YellowbookUSA (now Hibu) and its predecessors.
Cory Townsend
Vice President
Before returning to school to pursue an accounting degree, Cory worked in manufacturing in Cedar Rapids and Mount Vernon factories. Upon completion of bachelor’s degree from Mount Mercy University in 2017, he became the controller for a company in Mount Vernon. He began preparing tax returns on a part-time basis for LHA in 2018 which sparked his interest in assisting taxpayers with preparation of their returns. Cory looks forward in creating a solid working relationship with you.
